Changelog

Every entry below is a release that actually shipped to the Chrome Web Store. Nothing here is planned or upcoming.

  1. v1.0.43Store submission build

    • Prepared the extension for Chrome Web Store review.
    • This build carries no keystroke logging of any kind.
    • The remaining developer tracing tools, used only during development to diagnose the composer, are now gated behind a debug flag and do not run in an ordinary install.
  2. v1.0.42Attachment confirmation no longer sticks on Uploading

    • Fixed a chip that kept reading "Uploading" even after a file had already reached the assistant, because the confirmation check was looking in the wrong part of the page.
    • Added a "Sent with your message" state for a file that was sent before its confirmation could be observed, so the chip never claims a failure that did not happen.
  3. v1.0.41File upload fixed on both sites

    • Fixed a fault where dropping or attaching a file uploaded it twice.
    • Added a small confirmation chip for each attached file, so it is visible on screen that an upload actually reached the assistant, rather than only the assistant knowing.
  4. v1.0.37Renamed to Docognito

    • Renamed the extension to Docognito.
    • Cut the requested browser permissions down to one: storage.
    • Reduced the keyboard shortcut to one: Shift and Escape, which now hides the disguise and brings it back with the same combination.
